Candidate debate and forum

As noted in today's Oshkosh Northwestern, the upcoming week will be busy for local candidates. Progress Oshkosh is hosting a debate Tuesday at the City Center's Riverside Commons at 5:30 p.m. for the Oshkosh Area School Board candidates and 6:15 p.m. for the Oshkosh Common Council candidates.

The League of Women Voters of the Oshkosh Area will host candidate forums Thursday starting at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall in room 404. All local races will have a forum that evening. The forums will be broadcast live and replayed on OCAT Channel 10.

You can also learn how and where to vote online. If you know you won't be in Oshkosh on Election Day (April 4th) or will be too busy to vote, you can go to the City Clerk's office Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., to vote by absentee ballot.

Please take advantage of the numerous ways to become informed about the candidates and their positions. And don't forget to vote!
