Time to resign or be impeached?
Is it time for President Bush and Vice President Cheney to resign, and if they do not, should Congress initiate impeachment proceedings?

How soon we forget the Clinton pardons.

I didn't know you could impeach a washed up, angry, white, middle-aged ex-sports anchor. Wow...if Bush has given us just one thing, it's to finally show the vast majority of the media for what they are...Helen Thomas, Walter Cronkite, Carl Bernstein, etc., etc., etc. They and their obvious envy of the president are what is tearing this country apart.

Ah, the Clinton pardons... "Anonymous" must be referring to the Mark Rich Pardon. I think we should ask Scooter Libby what he thought about the Mark Rich pardon -- you know, if it was appropriate, etc. -- and I'm pretty sure I can guess fairly accurately what the answer would be given the fact that Libby was Rich's lawyer.

So he was Rich's attorney? Doesn't change the other 100+ pardons Billary passed out like hot dogs at a ball game. Didn't Hillary's brother get paid to lobby for pardons? Didn't Bill's brother even get convicted for taking cash to lobby for pardons as well? Didn't Bill even pardon his brother for that (and drug charges)?
Selective memory out there for some folks I think!

If honorable men they would resign. However, they are not and thus impeachment proceedings should begin immediately. To have to wait another 1 1/2 yrs. to be riddened of this so-called administration is dangerously long. I truly feel that America is a country in steady decline. At age 65 this is sad indeed. At the present time I don't even think I can vote anymore! Yes, it is said if you don't like it here....

Clearly Bush no longer has the support of the people that elected him. He also is quickly loosing the support of member of his own party. This administration is headed in the wrong direction.

headed in the wrong direction? the bush administration have been and continue to be traveling south on a northbound highway.
i believe there is a 0% chance bush will resign and unfortunately don't see an impeachment process coming to fruition either
thankfully 2008 is not that far away

Could we use the same headline for our city manager? I think so.

The City Manager comment was one I had thought of too. In fact, I can think of about 6 others whose heads should have rolled by now! Corruption at City Hall? Well, the inmates have been running the asylum for many years and somehow I don't think that's going to change much. While some Council candidates stressed job accountability, haven't noticed anything being done in that direction. But then who are we to know? We vote and then let the chips fall where they may. My experiences for the most part with City Hall have been to expect the opposite of what they tell you! In a way, that's an answer in itself! Oh well, that's politics....
